I'm planning to send my friend a surprise gift & don't directly wanna ask him his address..He's my aunts neighbor who's address is 428/12/2/f...so will his be 428/12/2/g..?

why don't you just ask your aunt his address... she probably knows..

There is no standard for block addresses in Sri Lanka. You have to ask someone for the correct address. It could be ending with g or e or something completely different.
