Sri Lankan Economy is going to tank if curfew is lifted per id number. Because practically speaking if someone wants to buy cloths or Construction material other than food they will go with someone who knows it, or chooses it. I do not know which moron advised the government about this.It is impractical. Government should take Economist advise too.
We should go for Smart Lock Down similar to Pakistan, Sweden, South Korea. Only lock down where it is necessary. There should be more testing taking place. Ask Corporations to pay for this testing , they will gladly oblige, instead of being shutdown in a lock down.That is what South Korea did. Sweden did the testing and there was no lock down. Sweden is bright spot in Covid fight when EU failed.There cases is going down. They did lot of testing.
