Sri Lankan Holidays-Year 2013(Can be imported to Mobiles & Outlook/Google Calendars)

Hi All,

Pls follow the below steps to add "Sri Lankan Holidays" to your mobile device or your google/ Outlook calendar.


For Android users,
Use google calendar to import holidays to your calendar.
Step 1 : Download the "Calendar2013SL.ical" file from http://www.sendspace.com/file/hyckyb
Step 2 : Import file to your google calendar. (for help pls visit http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/30834/add-an-ical-or-.ics-calendar-to-google-calendar/)


For iPhone users,

Step 1 : Download the "Calendar2013SL.ical" file from http://www.sendspace.com/file/hyckyb
Step 2 : Follow the guide given in the URL. http://www.ehow.com/how_8608129_add-ics-calendar-iphone.html


For Nokia Users,

Step 1: Download the "Calendar2013SL.ical" file from http://www.sendspace.com/file/hyckyb
Step 2: Import "Calendar2013SL.ical" to your outlook in pc.
Step 3: Sync outlook calnder to you phone using your PC Suite.

All the event details were taken from "http://documents.gov.lk/"

According to the above site,

* Public Holidays † Bank Holidays ‡ Mercantile Holidays
All Saturdays are Bank Holidays.
The above Public Holidays are also applicable to the Postal, Customs and Meteorological Departments. Changes in Public Holidays will be announced by Notification in the Government Gazette.
Full Moon Poya Holidays approved by the Poya Committee. These days are common Holidays applicable to all employees.
All times given here are Sri Lanka Standard Time which is 5 1/2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.
