Guys what do u think of Sri Lankan Movies?
I feel like most of the movies are either copies of Hindi movies or produced just to grab few awards.
Many movies are not intended to entertain people nor give public any messege.

Ok i might havent watched best films.
I have watched most of the films which lead to big discussions in Sri Lanka
eg: Sulaga Enu Pinisa, Sudu Kalu saha Alu, Aswesuma, Gurilla Marketing, Aksharaya(not complete film or an original version)

Sulaga Enu Pinisa
Wimukthi is so stupid. Most of the things there in the film are not relevent.
He creates a totally false image abt Sri lankan people in North, East, North Central. And specially abt soldiers.
He had used whatever he learned in France without caring whethet those facts are applicable for the specific situation.
Anyway he had used what he had learnt very well.
If the content is ignored, there r many positives.

We believe art is something that should parallel to the society.
Art( Drawings, Music, cinema) is a very powerful tool and should not be misused.
