Sri Lankan Rupee should be made exchangable for gold!

If Sri Lanka wants to destroy cost of living. It should make its currency exchangeable for physical gold. Get rid of taxes on gold and silver. It will destroy inflation. Country does not need to pay interest. It will become next Swiss country. They could just peg it to whatever reserves they have now. We will no longer require US Dollars. Only for Oil Imports we could sell Gold and get what ever currency we want for Oil Imports.
