kosandpol yea he have no idea what GPL or of the technical term he posted on his ppt . He think If it's GPL u can steal that software etc . He doesn't understand the licences agreement. He doesn't have a logical way of thinking, which is why I can 100% sure he is not a programmer.

very simple. here is the summery
Doc Sameera unpack Maxton classic,re repack it after changing few string as xAurora
Publish it in a small scale win BCS awards for a fake software grow confidence in laying giving presentations etc

try to take his browser to next level put it up on the "internet" claiming it as Sri-Lankan innovation. Got few patriotic supporters to promote it all went well. Till some one of the clever people found out how he got this software. Prove him wrong and report him to Maxthon.

Maxthon want to take legal action but his site was taken down by the host.

After an year he begs Kalinga (clever blogger who exposed this scam) to take his post down clamming he is been personally targeted (tbh he should have put on prison for scamming BCS ICTA MTV etc) soon as Kalinga take his blog post down, Sameera tried again promoting his fake browser. No one believed him this time

He created a multiple aliases to prove something he clearly can’t. Rest is history as they say.

Do read this thread page 1 to end lot of interesting suffs are their. I haven’t seen a guy who got owned this much

I know Dr. Sameera personally for over 10 years. If I reveal what a liar he is, some people will claim that it is a personal attack. Everything aside I have one single question. Anyone in the IT community knows that, to write a program in ASM is a hectic job. Even to do a simple calculation you need multiple lines. To write a browser with all the features Xaurora claim to have, how many ASM code lines need to be written? Since it was purely developed by Dr. Sameera only, how long did it take him to write it? Do the math and understand what Dr. Sameera is. By the way for the @55 lickers of the good doctor, what’s the update on the low suite? I am sure Sri Lanka police took in a case against Mahazona. This is the first time I have seen a cop running through forums threatening people that “he owns” the forum. Dr. Sameera, STFU and F OFF. We got better things to do rather than listening to your BS. Grow up kid. Do some exams for real and get some REAL qualification. FU (UK), STFU (KGB), KMA (China) won’t do any good for you in the REAL WORLD. wtf someone writing a web browser in assembly code anyways? why write any PC software in assembly code nowadays? assembly code doesn't make things secure. it only "can" make it efficient (but you can always screw up your algorithms and make it less efficient). but that doesn't make any difference in modern PCs with high speed processors and lots of RAM. it only matters on embedded devices.

besides, even if it made a difference in RAM usage and CPU utilization,
1. would it make the server where the webpages are stored faster? NO
2. would it make your internet connection faster? NO
3. basically would it make your web browsing experience better? NOOOOOOOO
4. would it make your web browsing experience worse? Yes. it has the worst GUI in any of the apps out there!!!!
