The SriLankan team is seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join us as:
BUSINESS ANALYSTS
The incumbent will be mainly engaged in analyzing business requirements for implementation of the Engineering Maintenance Information System (MIS) and data management of the existing system to make sure a quality data set will be available for migration. In addition he/she will be required to carry out the post management of quality of data in the implemented future MIS analyzing process improvements, propose solutions for the potential issues that might come up, study the future MIS, be a part of the system management team from users department and support the users of entire SriLankan Engineering community.
Main responsibilities would include:
Age: Below 35 years as at 27th October 2014.
Employment will be offered on 2 year fixed term contract.

Main responsibilities would include:
- Data cleansing – Required to visit all areas in Engineering with respect to data. Identify in-system data and off- system data, analyse them and in discussion with the respective subject matter expert devise actions and resolutions to correct them.
- Process refinement – Required to look in to all areas in details to find possibilities of automation of work processes and roles. Should identify all nodes of data entry and exit, And the formats used at each interface point, to propose better integrated refined mechanism and process to manage work.
- Data Quality Monitoring – Should build tools and procedures to monitor quality of data in the Maintenance Information System. Then by using them should identify data quality issues if any and propose solutions.
- Process Quality Monitoring – Should continuously re-visit the business processes, use analysis tools to identify and propose changes to the processes in alignment with the Maintenance information system
- Support and be a part of the MIS implementation team – support all sectional objectives and support all implementation activities of the engineering MIS implementation The candidates should possess the following minimum requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Computing or Mechanical with 2 years’
- experience in programing and business analysis.
