Dear Metal, Rock 'n Roll Lovin' People of MotherEarth.

A quick and modest update from the jaws of the wolves straight to your humble ears. The vocals for "A Dead Rose Wails for Light" was nailed today, which means all the vocals are now done. Which also means Stigmata's 3rd Album is Officially & Completely Recorded!!!

We are so stoked after 4 hard, painstaking years of honing and shaping these songs; these epic, evocative portraits of sentient, sinister and sonic children will finally see the light of night. And we can't wait for every single one of you to hear it, taste it, feel it... to be absorbed and become one with the music.

Forget trends, forget music industry politics, lies and gimmicks... This new record is a testament that all of us can celebrate the gift of music, and its crown; Metal. It is our dedication to each of you... and to ourselves.

That's the truth. It will appeal to an unthinkable number of music enthusiasts because it is extreme and intense, but is also melodic, complex, versatile, intricate, memorable & Sri Lankan. All the hooks from "Hollow Dreams" are right there, and all the dynamics and wizardry of "Silent Chaos Serpentine" are also there... with a whole Brave New World for those with an open mind and a wide palette of musical tastes.

Stigmata will therefore Officially schedule the Launch of the New Album this June.

However fret not, 'cos Stigmata will join 2 amazing Bands; Fuz MechanX & Nemesis on Saturday the 24th April @ The British School Auditorium at the brilliantly themed "We All Die Young" brought to our paradise by the wonderful Backdoor Mag.

A healthy warm up for us... And You :P

We'd also like to Thank everyone who has been on board, supporting, bleeding with us and pushing the good word about the Band and thanks to you guys our Official Myspace has now acquired 73 Thousand 647 hits.

correct me if i'm wrong..but didnt they release "A Dead Rose Wails for Light" as a single some time back ? Cause I have the CD with me...

anyways.I'm skipping this gig & will deffa come to the stigi's album launch maybe in June..

gotta say this is one of my most anticipated metal album releases this year..they have gotten so professional & tight during the years & even with their troubles with the basist leaving they are more stronger than ever...gotta say Tantrum's lead singer/bassist is an awesome fill..

heard that the drummer is also leaving after this.. is it true ?

anyways...this gonna be a kick ass album
