Situated on the beautiful Indonesian Island Resort of Bintan, a short 55 minute ferry ride from Singapore, the International Academy @Bintan is an academy dedicated to creating Work Ready - World Ready Professionals for the Tourism & Hospitality Industry. It offers a cost effective solution for those students wishing to study overseas.


IAB offers the following courses:

1. English as a Second Language
2. Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality
3. Advanced Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality

Industrial Attachment forms a compulsory component of the Diploma & Adv Dip programs. After 3 months, and upon successful completion and passing of the First Module, students will begin Industrial Attachment with one of our Attachment Partners on the Island Resort of Bintan, such as Banyan Tree, Nirwana Resorts, Club Med and Ria Bintan Golf Resort. From that point up until graduation, students will spend 50% of their time in the classroom and 50% on Industrial Attachment. A small daily allowance will be paid to students on attachment.

Upon graduation students will be assisted into full time employment with one of our Attachment Partners on the Island.

The Academy provides Free Accommodation for its students. This is dormitory style, with separate male and female dormitories. The campus provides 24 hour security with both male and female security guards. The Academy also provides Free food (school term only).

3. Airport Reception Service Fee - S$50
4. Student pass Issuance fee, Ferry Tickets to and from Bintan, 3 nights Hostel stay in Singapore, Transportation fee to and from Ferry Terminal to Hostel - S$350
