suicide jackets from a Catholic Church - Colombo

On information received from a civilian, security forces have uncovered accessories of suicide jackets from a Catholic Church premises in Olcott Mawatha in Pettah, this morning, 22 August.

According to the available sources, the recovery was made around 8.50 AM and detonators, switches and few other items had been concealed inside the St. Phillip Nerish Church in Pettah, in Colombo.

23 switches (MR type -11, PT type -11, PR type - 1) and a hand baggage were among the recoveries, MCNS said.

in such places like that there s no much of a checkin men..... i think thatz whta motivate them to target such places...... n v cant say that the priests are helping them......... in case you fing these things in a temple or a mosque, can wesay that the buddhist or muslim monks are helping them....

no machan im not blaming da Christians 4 dis who ever did it my blame goes to da exact person who did it nd i dont know how things work ina church. i thought sa priest is da one who is in charge. maybe am wrong am sorry if anyone got hurt
