LOL......... there should be limit for films and all other medias............... If not, Koti Handa will broadcast all over the island. all Adults only channels will broad cast as normal public channels.
Artists should feel the freedom, of course. but without pi*sing the culture, Government, Religion etc.
An artists is also a human. So they can have mental defects. If his mental problems influence in his creations, it can be a root for a lot of problems. Because the media is a very very effective way to talk to the public. And the media has the power to influence the public's thoughts.
All countries in this world (specially highly developed nations) always keep an eye on whats going with the medias and cinema industry. Hope we can remember the "Davinci Code"
French Cinema is popular for "unusual" cinematic creations. But they even don't create movies like those mentioned above!
Since Sri Lanka is suffering from Civil War problem, the authorities should be more carefull about the public image of the Sri Lanka and Sinhaleese.
