The suspect for the Akmeemana children abuse and killing is shot dead by police......!!!!!!!!!

For all we know, the real culprit may still be at large while someone else was killed by the cops to save the real culprit.
What would be great is that the police actually do a proper investigation and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that suspect is the culprit or that someone else is the culprit in a court of law.

the confirmation has to be done in a court of law. How do we know that the person that was killed was not some enemy of that particular cop who shot him ? or that he was framed by the cops to save one of their own corrupt officer ?
If the cops takes the law in to their own hands, the society as whole will break down pretty quickly and its the innocent and helpless who'll pay the price.
This kind of suspects killed before trials must be stopped regardless of the crime they are accused of.

Very true brother....this has become a trend....extrajudicial killing is not accepted in any civilized country....Sri Lanka being one of most corrupt countries this kinda of actions are highly dangerous....if anyone oppose the police they can get killed in the name of law....since the public dont open their mouth against this these bastard cops will kill anyone they dont like...you people know how corrupt the police today and sometimes I would say they are the most dangerous criminals in Sri Lanka..I might get bashed for these words...but I dont give a F*ck.....there is a saying if you dont bother to find what happen to your neighbour then there will be no one to bother when it happend to you...

This isnt a hindi movie where the cops can go on a killing spree without consequences. If such actions are condoned now, pretty soon the corrupt will take the maximum usage out of this and eliminate all those who oppose such corruption under the name of the law.
