Tamil Tiger aircraft target Colombo

LTTE photo shows Prabhakaran flanked by Black Air Tiger pilots who purportedly carried out Friday's raid At least two people have been killed and 44 others injured after two Tamil Tiger aircraft attacked the Sri Lankan capital Colombo, officials say.
Sri Lankan military officials said one aircraft was shot down over the international airport on Friday, while the other was shot and crashed into a government building in Colombo's Fort area.
"We have shot one [aircraft] down in Katunayake and found the wreckage and the body of the pilot," Keheliya Rambukwella, the Sri Lankan defence spokesman, said, referring to the international airport.
Sri Lankan officials told the AFP news agency that the raid by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was a suicide attack.

දේශීය ආදායම් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට පුහාරය එළ්ල කළ ගුවන් යානය ගුවන් හමුදා ප්*රහාර මධ්*යයේ එම ගොඩනැගිල්ල අසලට වැටී ඇති අතර පලා යමින් තිබූ අනෙක් ගුවන් යානය කටුනායාක ගුවන් හමුදා මූලස්ථාන*යෙන් එළ්ල කළ ප්*රහාර හේතුවෙන් විනාශ වුන බව රාජ්*ය ආරක්ෂාව පිළිබඳ මාධ්*ය ප්*රකාශක කෙහෙළිය රඹුක්වැල්ල මහතා තහවුරු කරයි.

ඒ අනුව කොළඹට ප්*රහාර එල්ල කිරීමට ආ එල්.ටී.ටී.ඊ. සැහැල්ලු ගුවන් යානා දෙකම විනාශ වී ඇත.

එමෙන්ම මෙම ප්*රහාරයෙන් තුවාල ලැබූවන් 47ක් වන අතර තුවලා ලැබූවන් අතරින් බරපතල තත්වයේ සිටි දෙදෙනෙකු මිය ගොස් ඇත.

I came to know about this incident couple of minites ago .First and formost, we should not want to take this incident as a big deal. LTTE is now in their final moment of serviving . By this time our forces rolling the LTTE out to a small cell . MY POINT OF VIEW IS, NOT TO SLOW DOWN THE OFFENCIVE AGIANTS LTTE BUT THEY SHOULD SHIFT TO A FASTER MODE TO KICK THEIR ASSES. WHILE TAKING OUT THE CILIVINCE.........................
