If you have walked a long with quick steps and happen to wait for some reasons, the speed still exists in your mind. so it can lead to that behavior. also, when doing such a task, mind ask for a confirmation, specially when you don't see or hear the result, but you know what will be the result. you do it again to gain a confirmation.
