Every company does marketing in different ways different levels, jaguar,benz, tesla every other company. Almost all car "vs" reviews is some sort of a marketing. Even the spacex sending a tesla roadster to the space is also a huge marketing and without even paying a dollar to spacex by tesla. What we should care about is that what they say in marketing is true and valuable to us rather than just saying it's marketing

Simply, using a single gear is not an excuse (It is not any other Auto manufacturer choose Tesla to have a single gear, but Tesla itself).

It is true that Tesla has more torque and HP at wheels, but when it comes to using them for so-called towing (I say rolling weights on wheels) and setting a benchmark, Tesla is lagging behind.

tesla use single gear cause for longer life time for powertrain...thats why they offer unlimited life time warranty for powertrain...

so...i think single gear is the best idea..

and electric motor can release full torque nearly zero rpm...

no one haven't show what is the max tonn weight can tesla pull up....

in future we can see....

that ICE baby and model X tug war wouble be best idea for see who is the beast....
