CHILDREN'S SIDE : Eleven 17 year old boys of Seven Buddhist conducted a dance till dawn party and lit fire crackers. A Drunk mob of the Adjacent Church attacked the children when they were leaving after the party at 12.17AM. The children were chased down the road and beaten. Area residents with pots and pans and cooking knifes protected the children from the angry mob.
CHURCH SIDE : We conducted our service, the children attacked us. Several of our worshipers were hurt. A one child Mr. Chirantha came and cut people with a sword. One witness

ARRESTED : Eleven 17 year olds. Produced in Moratuwa Court. Two children sent to Walikada adult prison underaged.
CASE STATUS : CLOSED on 7th of March 2008 after the Church withdrew the case after the claiming Rs. 5000 from each child.
