I think, its coming from educating women and more usage of technology. More educated and tech savvy the women are, more they select career over partner, more they become independent. And feminism, start to grow inside independent women.

Well we can't go backward(restricting women accessing education and restricting them from using technology and social media.)

And feminism has a good side too.
Think about the restricted lives of middle eastern women.
And when the less educated and non-tech savvy women go to jobs(like Sri Lankan women going for housemaid vacancies in middle east, Tamil women working in tea plantations and Sri Lankan garment girls) they are repeated being harassed and used. Therefore there should be more space for women to get educated and be more used for technology.
