Onna kiwwa! Opera is the safest browser! Hardly any exploits! Look how many exploits are there for IE and Firefox every week. Most Opera updates are for compatobilty improvements and bug fixes, not patches for exploits.

It is even the most standards compliant browser. It was the first browser to pass the Acid2 test. Only Firefox version 3 passes it, and IE7 doesn't. IE8 does though.

The only problem it faces is the fact that it is not as customizable as Firefox. And also, some websites, mostly which were created using Frontpage or such proprietory applications, are not compatible with it.

And it is so light weighted. Doesn't use as much RAM as Firefox or IE.

All that said, Firefox 3 might end up as the browser with the best Javascript performance with the release of version 3. Opera had the crown until now. Kestrel almost made sure it remained that way, until Firefox team tweaked the latest nightly build with an amazing efficiency.
