The players, guests and vips all commented on the day and what a success it was. Apart from the result, everything else was brilliant, and many, many guests frequently commented on what makes Bankstown cricket so good for its players, visitors and the community at large: it's team of volunteers and how dedicated they are. Congratulations to everyone that helped - it clearly made a positive impression.
Without you all contributing, the day simply couldn't have happened as there was so much to do. It wouldn't be fair to single out anyone in particular as a lot of planning and organising, then execution, went into a tremendous cricket event, but special thanks must also go to the young players from the Green Shield and 5s and 4s who helped all day. The club is very proud and appreciative of your efforts and commitment.
We must also thank the Sri Lankan team and their management who were very gracious and made sure anyone who wanted an autograph or photo was able to do so. Thank you to all our players who made sure their international visitors were always welcomed and challenged while on the field.
