"The Melody Of Ones' Life"
I ventured down that lonesome road
took a dive
so I was told
blinded by the fears of life
I settled in
accepted strife
walked a mile in my shoes
to prove a point
that I can lose
but even though the loss can be
it's not the end
so I did see
I prayed to God up high above
he didn't hear me
felt no love
I sought the magics of the land
reading palms
with my own hands
but never did I seek my own
frightened of
what could be told
I secreted my soul and heart
where none could find it
have a part
silently I crept on back
aware of frailities
I did lack
still I opened up my mind
to those that seemed
though not divine
spiraled down the course I laid
til finally bottom
to be saved
and who did answer my final call
just the one
who did it all
who drove me down this path to learn
tis pride that's weak
tis pride I yearned
yet I saw the one true path
verntured down it
past my past
saw in dreams what must be seen
to seek the truth
to find the mean
then twas I led to kingdom far
saw myself
I was a star
shining brightly in skies so vivid
I knew I had died
gone to heaven
yet here I am and now I see
the true course
of destiny
not the succor of the past
but the hopes and dreams
that always last
pride doth cometh before thine fall
I remembered the words
as I stand tall
with my brethren who walk this land
each a friend
who needs a hand
someday
