The scale is mesure by light years which state the how far the light goes for a year. Where light goes 3000,000 KM per second then a year means
300000*60*60*24*365 = KM our galaxy has a diameter of 100000 of light years. Another thing if you look at a object that is if you look at a object that is 100 light years away YOU ARE LOOKING BACK 100 YEARS BACKWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNIVERSE IS ALWAYS AMAZING there is lots of stuff hiding where it is really interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!
