no I've given up men, and It's not bcoz of technical probz, just physical probs, am lazy and busy, and I'm fighting spam like this, they post, I delete em manually, Can create automated ways to get rid of em, but am lazy . Btw Thanks for askin me, I'll contact you, If I ever need assistance....

Btw related to web mastering, wt do u know?? Like wt ur abled of? I mean wt server-side languages u know? I can do a some PHP Did u modify this forum's template by yourself?

well I am not an expert in software engineering, but know my stuff which needed for the development. I modified lot of stuff in template and in code to suite our features and taste. Lot of default stuff also there which can be applied to our requirements

Hay thanks but not an expert in web development too.
About the ads thing, well I have a feeling like when you put ads it shows like we are earning from this site and then it’ll reduce community support from the people. We are going to run without ads as much as we can, when we can’t afford it then we have to think about another solution. Because day by day elakiri growing bigger and needs better servers to handle it properly.
Mostly hosting done by Chamith and I am also helping him when I can.

About the ads thing, well I have a feeling like when you put ads it shows like we are earning from this site and then it’ll reduce community support from the people. We are going to run without ads as much as we can, when we can’t afford it then we have to think about another solution. Because day by day elakiri growing bigger and needs better servers to handle it properly.

We got reports from many members that members from such sites register and secretly send Personal Messages(PM) to our members asking to join their sites or download videos from their sites.
Some spammers even have over 100 posts in elakiri and act like real supporters for elakiri. So if anyone of you get any PM message or anything just let us know.
And other thing some people start threads telling they got the video or a song and ask you to PM them or email them to get the song. Mostly all of them just send you the URL of their site and ask you to register their and download the video or mp3. After you register they have your email address and they can contact you, spam you etc.. Mostly they spamming and collecting members from Elakiri. So please report if someone trying to do such things...

Haha its not a race machan, and I am not boasting but have to tell we don’t have a race to win. We already in top of the game.
But I’m sick of these spammers and their dirty tricks. I have seen this over the time and just tried to talk with them and even supporting them. But this never seems to end, so I got to take actions about this.
Even if they spam and take our members, I know they can’t keep our members. Mostly no one will leave elakiri for another srilakan site. So I am not much worried about loosing members. But I want to combat this sick spammers who think they can creep in and fool us.

hm race??? this is by far the best site.. and yaa we gotta do smthng bopuit those spammers bloody pains !!!!!
