Mahinda Ruled Our country for about 6 years , Ok he did the War but they Ruined our economy.

I know Developing need time but we can see weather country is gonna develop or not by about 3 or 4 months & I cant any developing procces in Last 6 years

Ok , Lets take an example , Chandrika Ruled (Or ruined) Our country about 11 years but I cant see any development but Premadasa ruled ouy country about 4 years & you can see how he did It

I agree! Mahinda will have to accept his share of acts of stupidity.. but the problem is people talk as if Mahinda is our first President... and definitely the rulers before cannot be vindicated at all..

Premadasa may have done some work, I agree.. but that period was the time Sri Lanka actually embraced open economy... so people are bound to see development in the country.. but don't forget the "Dark" period when Premadasa ruled... Burning tires, JVP problems, White Van culture was more popular back then, there were thugs using JVP as cover to settle their personal vendettas (JVP is not innocent either )... Media was barred and prominent journalists were murdered back then too (like Richard de Zoysa) I don't know whether you remember these or you too young to remember.. but there was such a period..

But you have to remember every ruler of this country had good and bad points, expect for maybe Chandrika was good for nothing (in my opinion wasted a whole decade coming into scene from by gaining pity votes)

What everyone did and will be doing for the foreseeable future will be to "monkey patch" the problem loot the country and runaway! Until unless people put country first.. will that ever happen?

I can't remember premadasa's period , I was too young but I heard about it. JVP Start It first & Premadasa Finished It like any other President will do ( Even mahinda will do it , If he was the president)
