Yes, this is the weird part. I know that a white Democratic senator wouldn’t say “praise be to God” like this. Why would he do something that his colleagues wouldn’t do, right.

I saw an interesting stat that Jewish voters have also supported him considerably. It shows that Americans are still quite open minded and embracing (don’t even compare Americans with Lankans, we aren’t this generous). Why isn’t the same generosity reciprocated by him is a fair point of criticism.

Above criticism withstanding, I actually kind of like the guy.
