This made me less of a Man

You guys may have known this before, but I came across this when I was reading a news article today.........................

Lt.-Gen. Fonseka is a competitive swimmer who won the U.S. Green Card lottery but has remained in Sri Lanka

How some people willing to do anything to go to US or another country? Some would risk their lives...........this really made me feel ashamed of myself!!!

Fonseka won't get the same reputation and the status if he migrated to US.
Might need to do shitty and dodgy jobs for sometime until establishes himself.

And I don't know whether true or not even Coz I don't believe you 100% fair enough isn't it?

[PS: even one of my uncles who is a Squadron Leader @ SLAF didn't migrate to Aus due to the above said reasons. But people still thinks he did that coz he loved the country ... Maybe he did.. But who knows. There are 2 sides of this anyway]

agree with youh machan. if he migrated to USA he dont get a reputation like this. alos he have everything here. people who risk their lives to some country i different than him. they may dont have a job, house bla bla.....you know.

I also have a friend who's working for SLAF, and he didnt migrate to AUS
for the same reason... but his family is in AUS.

but we cant undermine Gen.Fonseka's service to this country. But as you said who the hell would throw away the ARMY COMMANDERS job after being in the ARMY for almost 30 years. Would any one do it? I dont think so... specially a post like this... Will anyone say no to a CEO/Chairman post after working for the company for 30 years...I wouldnt...
This is just a point...

But the service of Gen.Fonseka over the last 2 years have been just
brilliant..No doubt about it...
LTTE is hiding their butts partly because of Ge.Fonseka's leadership...
