(See Situation Report on 4th October 2008).     In the meantime, one soldier was injured in a confrontation at VANNERIKKULAM the same day around 7.30 p.m.     Troops during their search and clear operations in VANNERIKKULAM and PANDIVEDDIKULAM areas recovered fifty-eight anti personnel mines and four IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices).</blockquote>
