Is there any instrument which can be used to cut a piece of tile into a shape as your wish except the tile cutter?

What are the differences of the shapes for each of these instruments?

Grinder : straight cuts, any outside curves, relatively big inside curves etc
Oscillating multi-tool : can cut most of the shapes if you have the right blade, this cuts slowly
Hole saws : as the name implies, just to cut various-sized holes
Even a router can be used with special cutting bits : a router can cut any shape/any size if you have a right cutting bit
