It's not the problem of Sir's teachings, i can see it definitely is the problem of the general audience (Some of them actually). First of all, we need to understand that this person is addressing a group of people in society (A/L Students) and not all his talks are science-based because of that (It's not always necessary to use that to teach some manners or ethical behaviours).

As i observed from his videos, the way he conveys concepts to the people is smart and very clever. Here also he's doing the same. Look at it that way, not the other way around. Then you will understand what is he trying to do.
