To My Sweet Love
We met each other by chance,
And decided to be friends.
With every minute we spent together,
We got to know each other better.
Months passed,
And our friendship grew.
Then a day came,
When you had to tell me something,
Something I had already knew.
You took my hands in yours,
And looked deep in to my eyes.
You said I've aroused a feeling in you,
That you never felt before.
You said being friends was great,
But the feeling you felt for me was something more.
You placed a little box on my hand,
Which was tied with a red band.
In it contained a crystal heart,
I read the words written on it.
It filled my eyes with tears,
And my heart filled with joy.
You wiped my tears,
And help me close.
I smiled and embraced you,
And softly whispered the words,
'I LOVE YOU TOO'
