I accede to your initial request to use only English on this forum and am doing so as that seems to be the best language you go down with.

I am by no means writing this to offend you.

Firstly, it is undeniable that your views have certain points that are valid. However, it has to be noted that a large many of them are just mere fallacies and thus there is little reason of even acknowledging your very long write-up.

Secondly, I am extremely puzzled and appalled at your rather narrow-minded and childish attitude.

Since you feel so strongly that this forum is of no importance and that it is an utter waste of time, then I would kindly request that you leave this forum and spend your own time wisely.

You have also mentioned many times that the language you use is socially accepted in the terms of your country and thus find no error on your part to use such language here.
However, sir if you are a learned man as you claim, why is it so difficult to converse in a civilized manner?

Furthermore, since the internet is such a waste of time, then why sir are you still hear posting on this forum? Is that not a sheer laughable irony?

I refer to the post, in which you chose the easy way and slandered ‘Shaggy’ and the Administrators of this forum; as you mentioned that you do not know ‘Shaggy’ as a person, then what right do you posses Sir, to poison the well with venomous words? You claim that he is an egotistical and foolish. Then sir is it not possible to see that you yourself are acting out the true definitions of those very words?

I take it as you sir are not going to be much bothered by this post, as am I yours, however, I shall take a few more minutes to explain the reason why many of us are still here, part of this Elakiri family, as you have aforementioned that you fail to see such a reason:

It’s a simple word called pride; of being born a Sri Lankan and seeing ourselves as one, regardless of our location, and that is what keeps this place going. The feeling of being a part of a warm and familiar community, tandem with the same value and family system present in what we call home.

Some may call it blind-love, others patriotism, nevertheless it is still the reason we stand tall and smile when we say, “Yes, I am a Sri Lankan”

It isn’t the color of our passports, our various accents or the address on our letters that make us a Sri Lankan, ‘it’s the pride deep inside, and we are ONE’

I was gonna come and reply him, but I don't think it's needed anymore. The only thing I can add is...Wizkido, you have no idea about people's personal lives to comment on them saying no one appreciates them in real life. May be it applies to you, as far as I concern, it doesn't apply to me or the people I have talked to in here. So do not make lame assumptions thinking all the lives are similar to yours, because as lich said "not all five fingers look alike". Before you go and try to correct people, have some common sense and learn the basics. For example, how to talk, how to appreciate people's hard work, and to show some respect.

You probably think, when you come here and start posting in English with 1000 plus words, people would care about your lame theories. I am sorry to tell you this, not in here. If you have to comment about something, please feel free, but do not accuse admins. or members of having lame lives or doing a bad job. As far as I see, you have not done your homework before opening the thread, because the Admins. have organized activities and there are proves if you would look around ["with your eyes open"]. Also, if you do want to brag about how cool you are or what you have achieved in your life, please feel free to open another thread and share your experience, because it's free.

Last but not least, as far as I could figure out, no one asked for your cheap 0.02 pound opinion in the first place!

OTher than that we make new friends in this site as well! I alone made more than 6 friends! I even got to no a person who lives in my own home town.I never met him earlier! Bt now we are good friends too! What do u say about that! There are plenty of reasons for us to be in this site and there are plenty of USEFULL things for us to do and to GET from this place in the Web machan! U might have had experiances with the web for a long time. But U cant just condem a place without Knowing it for good! U still dont no the ins and outs of this site! I can feel that from ur post! So Mr WiZkIdO! U better read what u have typed again and Think about it some more!

Every1 here has got a point, maybe u've got a point to some extent. bt y don't u admit that this site is coool, this site is great, it has got coool members. members who appreciate what others do and their achievements. If u're concerned abt someone's higher number of posts, then pls it's not ur concern. we appreciate shaggy's and all the other members contribution and opinions towards the site and towards anything they r interested in. We share a lot, we are friendly, helpful and we work together.

We are a virtual family, Together we stand to protect our family. Insult one and u're insulting us all... EK is the best and it will be the BEST... why do u care if we spend our time in EK, how do u know how we manage our time. as far as our parents are not concerned about their money, why do u care? maybe for someone's good. but still we know what we are doing... I hear many foreigners saying "Sri Lankans are so friendly and helpful" we say that too. Did u ever wonder why people say that? It's maybe Coz they dont find like this ppl in their country... This is an example community for all the countries out there.... I'm nt goin to make this long... as Aphoo said find somewhere else to sell ur cheap 0.02 British pounds worth suggestions........ we dont buy it. SORRY.COM
