    10. The Matrix - Excellent Sci Fi and Hugo Weaving kicked ass!
    9. The Shawshank Redemption - The imdb ratings says it all
    8. Batman Begins - believable and best batman take
    7. Children of Men - Hell of a good Sci Fi story
    6. Contact - Best Sci Fi movie ever
    5. The Eagle Has Landed - Best WWII story
    4. X-men Origins : Wolverine - Good take on the Wolverine's origins story arc.
    3. Italian Job (1969 original ) - great movie
    2. Get Carter - Great thriller. Micheal Caine at his best
    1. Grave of the firefiles - Still the all time best movie I've seen.

grave of the fireflies, ive seen, listed as one of most saddest movies ..however i thought it was annoying ..yes the movie was great ...however, everybody here should take a look at that one.

yeah that boy was flawless as bruce willis hardly pulled his part :P that quote fucks my mind up lol

"out of depths ive cried to thee..O Lord"

you'd dig "the others" no special effects and forced make ups ..the suspense this movie maintain is mindblowing.

watched it! i couldnt make up the twist! but it occured to me tht those 3 servents must be phantoms at first! children were avoided from sunlight , locked doors said something awkward is going on! but i couldnt make up dat far!

    a wonderfull movie!

speaking of horror movies, which came out in recent past, "the decent" was amazing..you might wna check that out if you have not already...

there are many versions of texas chainsaw massacre ..i liked this one where two bros and their gfs get caught on their way to army or something...and course, i haven't had a chance to get my hands on the very original version which had come out in 70s..

thanks earthling...just finished seeing this one...and wow..it was deeper than i expected. and amusing. and all the gore wasn't painfully disturbing either..
this, however, reminded me of this other italian(i guess) movie "salo, 120 days of sodomy" which dealt with somewhat similar aspects, eventhough salo was infact so shallow lol.

guess you've seen salo, in case you haven't...it is one of most sickest movies to ever exist.
