Toshiba L300 laptop screen suddenly goes blank

My Toshiba L300 laptop screen suddenly goes blank while working. Some times it goes blue or grey screen then cannot do anything except force shut down. But in safe mode it doesn't happen. I cleaned the cooling fan & tried with external monitor also but didn't solve the problem. Please advise how to rectify this problem.

is it amd or intel.... it could be the problem with the graphics chip or most common problem with l300 series is nec tokin capacitor.... u need to replace it...

It is Intel. It didn't happen when operating on battery without connecting to charger.
