Toyota VITZ CVT oil

I have changed MY CVT oil from Laughs yesterday.They Used BG branded CVT oil for change.i came home and did some research and found out Recommendation is TOYOTA CVT TC.do i need to change the oil asap or will it ruin the tranny?

Why did they used BG? TOYOTA CVT FE is the only recommended oil. For pre 2011 cars it should be CVT TC. For a common car like Vitz they should have known that.

It’s not gonna explode.But better to change to toyota again.This time you need to flush because normal draining won’t remove all the bp oil from the tranny.

BG eka OEM oil ekak. Hugak Toyota/Daihatsu ewata danawa. Mageth move ekata damma. Passe mama maru kala oil eka TC ekata. Ehema loku aulak wenne na. Namuth maru karaganna tharamata hodai.

Hugak service station walin oya BG oil eka thama danne.

You should have researched before doing it. Its going to be waste of money if you drain it now. I honestly think services must be done by Toyota Lanka.
Even though i also have a Vitz and sterling service, i put it to Toyota Lanka. There is no much of price difference.

Can eke mention karala tiyenawa substitute ekak widihata use karanna puluwanda kiyala.. No need to put toyota recommended oil always.

It could be true but Toyota Lanka always had them. CVTs are very sensitive to the oil used and should not be playing with it. Toyota doesn't make any oils but CVT oils are made to a strict manufacturer spec. (Maybe BG is the actual manuafacturer but still would be somewhat differnt to the Toyota spec'ed one.)
