The issuance of new high tech driving license ran into trouble on its first day today when the printing of the Smart Card did not materialize due to what the officials at the Motor Traffic Department called ‘a system failure’. Picture shows the deserted counters at the Werahara Motor Traffic Department office after the public were told that the issuance of new driving licenses was suspended.
