MULLAITTIVU: AIR FORCE fighter jets shelled two LTTE positions in MULLAITTIVU district causing heavy damages to Tigers Wednesday (10).
The first air attack targeted an artillery ammunition storage and distribution point about 2.5 km east of UDAYARKATTIKULAM around 10.00 a.m..
The second air sortie was conducted by the Air Force around 12.10 p.m. on Tiger defence line being constructed by a group of terrorists using heavy earth moving machinery about 1 km east of AKKARAYANKULAM.
Pilots confirmed both attacks were successful.
