It Seems a lot contradictory to my my experiences.Ubuntu is the best considering its help towards the usability and i think fedora takes 2nd with its packages.

As long as ubuntu's source code is out and been developed no one can stop it's outstanding development in all kind of ways

That's no answer. The Linux foundation has to answer them and settle things legally. If not, it's no better than pirating Microsoft software like most of us do.

seriously, if you guys want to try linux out, Try an easy to use distro like PCLinuxOS or Mandriva where almost everything works out of the box without having to mess with the configs.

    Fedora is also great for the begginers with ita packages

    However what do u think about da best linux based OS?
