Joke of the year – Young Udurawana in London
Udurawana came to a London pub in the evening and ordered three glasses of beer and asked the steward to keep the three glasses side by side. He then started sipping beer, one sip from each of the three glasses. Everyone around were surprised about this particular way of drinking beer and the pub’s manager slowly approached Udurawana. “Sir, you could have ordered one glass, finish it and then order the second and then the third.”
“It won’t do, you see. We were three brothers, one left for Australia, another for Canada and I am in London. We promised to always remember each other and drink for each other, never for one alone! You see I am sipping two glasses not for me but for my brothers. Only the third glass is for me.”
Udurawana made it a habit to visit this pub every evening and everyone became accustomed to his behaviour. Without asking the steward would bring three glasses and Udurawana took sips in turn from each glass.
Three weeks went by and Udurawana appeared as usual and said, “Hey, only two glasses today.” The pub staff felt very sorry because it is most likely that one of his brothers would have passed away. They all surrounded Udurawana’s table and expressed their deep sympathies. “Sir please accept our deepest sympathy because one of your brothers has died.”
Udurawana then asked, “who said my brother has died?” “Sir you drink only two glasses today!”
“No maan, it is because I decided to quit drinking”
Big LOL
