the next moment has a lot of effect from the previous moment, incidents are related... next one would happen as a result of a previous one.. buddhism also has some sort of similar ideas.

So far I think it is not but I do B'live in Cause and effect theory .... if you can calculate the Cause you can tell the result ... so Like Buddha if you know the reason for everything you can say wht happen next ....as well as wht happen in the past
one might say ok if some person can predict the future 100% accuracy then it means that everything is predetermined but that isn't the case if you can change the cause you can change the result as far as the cause if unchangable the result will certain
according to the researches 65% of you life is predetermined by your previous actions only 35% is not ....Lord Buddha focus on this 35 % person but if you focus on this 35 % you can change your destiny so all you need is will power to change you future
yes you can change the future
you have free will (but everyhting you choose is not the right one)
you reap what you saw
Conclusion : everything is not 100% predertermined you can change your future sometime i feel it is good you can't predect the future by chance if someone can then it will cause your 35 % will power to '0" curiosity should be there always , life should have some hopes
