This happened a few months back, it was the time when 9600GT first hit the Sri Lankan Market, one of my friends wanted one and we went for a little Stroll @ you know where 
. So we went to this shop and it had the both 8800GT and 9600GT, My friend was really excited now, I asked from a skinny guy over the counter,
"Hey What is the price of that 8800GT" (i wanted to know since i bought one recently)
"Sir its 35K rupees" (ok thats a bit expensive but not much i thought)
then my friend jumped in (he was very excited now because you know if 8800GT is 35K then 9600GT should be much cheaper) and asked
"So what about that 9600GT?"
then the skinny fella got smug and said
"Sir thats a bit expensive, its 43K"
we were Like WTF, HFC
I said
"How can that be 43K when the 8800GT is 35K this is insane"
Skinny guy got even smugier
"Sir its the latest model from nVidia, its very powerful" (now i was cursing the bitches at nvidia who came up with this idea to rename G92)
"But But 9600GT is Slower than the 8800GT how can this be " I said
"No No sir this one is Faster" Skinny guy re assured me with his stupid smug face
Then i got pissed and went all nerdy and started telling him about how 9600GT has 64 Shader processors and 8800GT has 112, the next thing I remember is my friend dragging me out of the shop.
