University Provided e-mail address help

I'm an university student and I have an email provided by the university which they have given to each and every student. Since this is an educational email it has unlimited google drive space. I have two questions regarding this email.

1. Is this email available only for the time that i'm in the university or can i use it through my entire life?

2. Can the university administration check the stuff that I upload to it even though I have already change the password? Is there a admin password or something to this?

Only when you're with the uni you can use unlimited gdrive space.
administrator can check if they want to or if they have any suspicion over you. So yeah no pron upload please.
