LTTE air strike in Mannaar, Colombo - SLA

Sri Lankan military officials in Colombo said that the Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) carried out an air attack on Tha'l'laadi military base, the main artillery and Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher (MBRL) launchpad of the Sri Lanka Army in Mannaar Tuesday around 11:00 p.m. Initial reports in Colombo also indicated that fire brigade was rushed to Kelanitissa power station in Colombo after an air-strike. Meanwhile, reports from Vanni said Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) fighter jets were seen over Ki'linochchi town, Visuvamadu, Ira'naimadu and Murasumoaddai areas between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The SLAF aircrafts were using para lights in their search mission over Vanni.

Further details were not available at the moment.

machan i dnt think the aircruft has been hit bcz i saw it flying near my balcony after while those fireing sounds..i was the plane and its fair our army cant hit the flight bcz it fly in a really low hight...so they got away again but i dt think we can blae the force bcz they cant attack if they attack civilians will also get hurt......
