Lets look at the reality... every ruling govt. in the world would want to suppress the opposition as much as they can... this is universal,

They are suppose to be on the look out for eachother's mistakes to present to people.. whom then will weigh both sides and vote for whom they think is wrong or right / strong or weak!

If an opposition cannot stand this pressure of the ruling party that may imply that they are infact weak!

This is the reason today you feel like govt. will somehow make them disappear, that is proof about the weakness of UNP today!

We need to have a strong opposition that's agreed, but if they themselves are not strong enough who can stop their demise?
