At least three UNP offices in the Attangalla area and a large number of cutouts in the Ratnapura area were attacked and damaged overnight, a UNP organizer and a poll monitoring group said.
According to UNP’s Attanagalla organizer, Harshana Rajakaruna three offices had come under attack and the police had refused to accept the complaints.
According to CaFFE monitoring group Convenor, Keerthi Thennakoon the number of Election related offences have increased to 29 and among that is the incidents of attacks on cutouts of Gen Sarath Fonseka in the Ratnapura area.
