In the past 33 years of war

MR didn't get shot.
MR didn't get his head blown of by a bullet.
MR didn't get his feet blown off by a landmine.
MR didn't get lost in the jungle and died of hunger.
MR didn't get blown off by a clemo.

But our soldiers did.I was giving the due respect to those who deserve it.
Our soldiers finished the war. MR is another politician to me. He was going to held peace talks and keep the shitty process going. If Mavil aru didn't happen we will still be holding peace talks. Don't talk like the first thing MR did when he came to power was to declare war on the LTTE. He's just another ancestral politician carrying out his family job. He took advantage of the opportunity. If you are in the forces or you have a family member in the forces, then you know what the disabled soldiers are going through right now.

As for the " විකුණන් කෑම ", we all saw how he used the victories won over our soldiers blood to his political gain. You can't deny that can you. What was the thing he asked us to "කළගුණ සලකන්න ".

I don't care about any political party. I hate party politics. It was to your comment that MR finished the war that I made a reply.

Your ideas are just lame and not practical at all. President is the main person in the forces and he should declare war and peace. He must not have to go to war field and fight like a soldier. You say I can't compare the pre 2005 era. I can actually. Mahinda was a better choice than ranil. I accept that. My family voted for mahinda in 2005. But that doesn't mean we have to worship him.. Considering the fact the worship of mahinda was started by the government media and fed to the pubic.
