Looking to see if just be a wild chance someone on this page may beable to direct me in finding a US Marine that was with me at the American Embassy in Colombo in 1976 and 1977. His name was Mitch VanSyckle from California. He harried a local gal like i did back in the 70's. Her name was Aloma and she was from Hendella , SriLanka. We were both Marines at the US Embassy and always have wondered what has happen to those two. Now it is quite common for foreigners getting married to locals but back in the mid 1970's it was pretty much unheard of.. Well now my wife and I are married 47 years with two sons and 5 grand children.
