Concept wise its fine, but we don't know enough about this to actually discuss about it because there could be many variables!

For example, guiding a warhead through Air and Water isn't really a problem but guiding it through earth is unimaginable, how do you set a course for this to travel through earth, yes it will melt the rocks and stuff but not all of earth's core consist of rocks, there are voids too and a 1cm difference off course from somewhere makes huge difference at the other end!

The machine programed to go directly by it's starting point and it was a linear path. and the distance it travels easily can measure. how ? like this programmer knows the Distention of the Machine and to mesure distance he needs to sensors in beginning and the end of the machine. and can calculate the distance the war head can dicide the distance it travels. The new radar plane, code-named "Balance Beam," is fitted with a linear-shape electronically steered phased-array (ESA) radar. The radar is similar in shape and size to the Swedish Ericsson PS-890 Erieye airborne radar. The radar is to be manufactured by the PLA 38th Institute.

The Y-8 "Balance Beam" will provide the PLAAF with a platform for tactical airborne early warning and electronic intelligence missions. The "Balance Beam" is designed to coordinate Chinese fighters, bombers and strike aircraft via datalinks in air campaigns against Taiwan, Japan, India or the U.S.

OK here is a point do you ever see the interface Marks of a Intel Dual core Processor? okok Intel Pentium 4 processor? where do u think those are manufacture? Macho Those are R&D ed by Intel corporation. the digital diagrams of the Processor drown using Auto cad Grass Mesh development Software. Having fighters doesnt mean they can move their entire military across the atlantic. They just doesnt have the ships or planes to do that. Its not a matter of moving 2 million persons (not to say that's an easy task in itself), they have to move supplies for those troops atleast until they have secured a beach head for transport, they have to move fuel for all those vehicles (planes, ships,etc) for that campaign, they have to move enough munitions.
Do they have enough ships for that ? no.
