We are boasting about the number of users we have, which is about 91091 to date. (according to the member list, but 95000+ according to the home page)

But a quick search on the members list showed following results.

Now this shows this place is filled with leechers, bots and non posters. We have to be careful when we say that we have 90000 members, because 89% of people with 0 posts is rather forgettable situation.

How about deleting the non poster accounts?

haha how can a bot register through image verification machan Just use the brain.

How can there be many thousands of downloads for files. Some files has over 26,000 downloads. So how can that happen when we even have download interval like 1minute between each downloads.?

And how can we be the most visited srilankan site according to all those well known stat companies?

Its just one fact machan. There are thousands of people who come to elakiri for songs and videos. And thousands coming from google and yahoo just to find something on the forum. They are not posting so post count is 0. But what to do they are coming only for what they want.

So don't talk what you don't know and don't think you are a big deal. I saw that in super pi thread too. Its may be like impossible task or like a magic to you. But not for us!

If all 95k people start to post then we can be the no1 forum in the world.
Actually most of the people coming to elakiri to download music or what ever they can using download section or forum. Many come from google or yahoo to find just one thing they want from a keyword.

Since we are based on downloads and media we can't expect everyone to post coz this is not a totally forum based site. Forum is just one part.
We should try to make those downloaders post in the forum. Thats only what we can do.

Anyway can't delete them not for posting because we are the largest online music promoter for srilanka. So our role is to promote music to maximum number of people. And all the artists and record companies expecting that from us.
So make those people post is our own talent. But main idea is to promote music. If we restrict music only to the posters then most of the artists and record companies will not like that because they are promoting their content uniquely through our site.

Hmmm... well the answer z been given, it's just th the way the members see the site, some as a place to meet friends, some as a place to dwnld ur fav. music n some as an educational spot!

guys..i think most of the peope who are registered and without any posts is that they can be people who are not online more oftenly..some of my friends also log in when they are in the class. everyone dont have internet connectivity neee..so i think those statistics are good.
but it will be a great achievement if we can have more active members.
