torrent can be downloaded quickly and reliably with utorrent than other software's. Which is why its written for windows. But in this case I agree with you

torrent can be downloaded quickly and reliably with utorrent than other software's. Which is why its written for windows. But in this case I agree with you

utorrent doesnt speed up torrent speeds in anyway. The download speed is still controlled by your internet connection speed. However, utorrent is quite a lightweight application.
On non windows platforms there are equally light weight torrent applications that has a similar set of features as utorrent does.

thats a beta version that migara has posted about. Not a stable version. Thats probably why updates doest pick it up.
