Dear Friends,

I am surprised to c how you all react this issue. Actually in my point of view this is not even a matter of to make an issue. Let me take some examples. you don't have to answer this question. just think about ur self and c how many times that u have drunk any kinda liquor. have u ever smoked. I am sure most of u have some experience. there are so many in our country as well as in world who do drink and smoke every day. but every body know that’s bad for ur health. so then y those things are not banded. answer my friend is that’s a part of the culture. and culture is being subject to evolution, regardless u like it or not.
Sex one the basics feelings and needs in any living. In our country we try to hide it as much as possible. that creates a lots of frustration and peer pressure among the young crowd whom r in thirst for this. so in deed we need some sort of trend moving toward safe sex and the freedom of creating an open mind thinking about this. Most of these ppl who pretend be the pillars of the society (i am not talking about the business ppl, they actually run this country some how, no matter what ever bullshit imposed upon them from bloody politicians), who tries to show that they try to keep the traditions as it is, try to protect the culture abuse so many young girls and keep moving upon their dreams. (if u have a good connection in aesthetical fields u would know so many stories). for them to abuse upcoming girls and have un ethical sex its ok !, coz V don't mind. they are already in the good books of society. come to think of it, if a couple goes to a small motel to enjoy them selves, police raid the place and next day they are on news while some have enormous enjoyment in much more expensive place still keeping the white interface to the society.
So we don't have any mechanism to make it fair for the wrest of the ppl. there was a proposal to establish lovers parks near by free trade zones but that time also it was cancelled due to the major protest undertaken these so called "Pillars". if there is a need in the market there would be a supply. problem is weather its legal or illegal. I actually admire the fact that this radio channel was brave enough make a tread, break the barriers and speak freely. whether u like it or not is a different issue and u approve it or not is also immaterial. i was listening to all these clips that some body has put up in RogePost, giving a major publicity for Raja FM which even they didn't expect. The impression i got was the same as listening to news. they were using all scientific words no filth and that’s fair enough i suppose.

So why can't u all agree the fact that, if there is a market for it, if there is a crowd that need it and if its not illegal let it be there. Just look around wind is blowing to different directions.

Bottom line is. There are somthings that agree wit our culture and there are som things that dont.

People with power and responsibility should make decisions in a intelligent manner. Just bcos its happening abroad doesnt mean that itl b accepted well here

Well... first of all I'm surprised how you..... react to this..... if you have listen to those conversations carefully you'll find that those were not meant to help the sex problems that young had those were 200% pure sex stories!!

For an example, if you having an affair which you're not suppose to have and you doesn't know what to do....... then yes!! I agree that you need advice from a professional but.... look at what this radio station does when you listen to the sound clips.... 75% of it is the SEX STORY and 25% of it giving the advice from the so called SEX DOCTOR!! and even 13year old can give the advice that he gives!!!

You doesn't have to explain all the things you did in the bed which is totally inappropriate, how you gave "blow jobs", how you screamed in joy when the person licked your private parts and so on.... you might have definitely listen to those... since you are a BIG FAN of the program.... these called sex stories....

An adviser doesn't need to hear all this shit to give an advice, you are in the wrong relationship you cannot make up your mind to get the hell outta of it and you cant help doing it....And that's the core problem!!!

When you say "SEX" everybody knows what kinda things involved, there is no need to explain in detail in the radio, to the whole country..... this is misleading youth and arousing their sexual feelings and make them all bunch of weirdos and physos!!!! Especially... SRI LANKAN YOUTH that does not have a proper sex education in the school system.. is very easy to mislead!!!!

Nobody says no to a proper SEX EDUCATION program, BUT this is definitely not it!!! Everyday in Sri Lanka radio stations blooming like mushrooms, the competition is so high and most of these are in fact targeting teenagers.... why??? Easy money!!!! they are so vulnerable they do not know how to spend!!! And they got lot of weaknesses when it comes to love, sex sort of things!!!!

So when the going gets tough for the stations they turn to alternative methods they need to attract teens by hook or by crook.... so what better topic to start other than a SEX!!!! tell them 3 hours of SEX stories and BOY!!!! surely they'll be glued to the radio!!!! that's the aim!!!

Be open minded!!! But don't be STUPID!!!

We cannot supply everything that has a demand!!! Then why don't you go and supply some rocket launchers to LTTE????? you'll definitely get a good price!!! they are very much in need of such things!!!

You wouldn't right?? why??? because they will kill us back with them!!!

So does here..... DON'T POISON THE YOUTH... CUZ THEY ARE THE FUTURE... IT WILL EFFECT THE SOCIETY SOONER OR LATER!!
