vb6 doesnt support png u'll either have to use an activex or convert the image to jpg or bmp

PNG format was available in those times but MS didnt support it back then.
Actually VB6 beta came out in late 98 and full version in 99. The reason VB6 doesnt support png is that MS didnt support the png format as they were promoting their own wmf format those days.
